Automation Engineer, QA

kikin is searching for an Automation Engineer / QA Manager to help build kikin. This is an opportunity to help revolutionize online navigation, services, and media as we know it.

We are looking for a self-starter to help structure and implement an agile QA and software development framework improving quality, transparency and predictability of our release cycles.

The successful candidate has worked with small and highly dynamic teams before – probably in a startup environment. You have hands on software development experience, an understanding of large-scale consumer web applications and you are comfortable to bridge the communications gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will immediately jump into implementing automated software development environments and QA tools as well as helping in all areas where you can lend a hand.

• Responsible for kikin’s Software Development Environment
• Responsible for quality and on-time delivery of our product
• Implement continuous integration and automated testing
• Manage project timelines from conception through launch
• Define and document all required project tasks
• Manage overall software release cycle and coordinate development, QA and operations
• Recommend, implement, and manage the necessary project management tools

• BA/BS from a four year institution in a related field
• 4+ years experience in automation and QA technologies
• Diverse knowledge of the Web as it pertains to our project technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, J2EE, C++
• Experience with technologies like Continuum, Selenium etc. a plus
• Experience with work flow management frameworks such as Jira a plus
• Experience with web development life cycles including development, testing, and deployment as well as work breakdown, dependencies, responsibilities

kikin is searching for a Web Developer / CSS Specialist to work within our Frontend team on the kikin application and website, utilizing advanced CSS, Javascript and related technologies. Kikin enriches and personalizes the Internet experience for web users without the need to change browsing behavior.

• Participate in developing and maintaining our web site and the kikin service
• Develop solutions for the integration of our branded partner websites and pitch pages
• Deliver high quality hand-coded prototypes of client web applications

BI Developer / OLAP Engineer

kikin is searching for a Business Intelligence / OLAP Engineer to build and manage kikin's data warehouse as well as the BI access layer. The successful candidate will be familiar with OLAP, data modeling, information retrieval, data mining and relationship mapping. You will be responsible for designing and building data mining solutions and highly scalable distributed backend database systems. Responsibilities will include requirements gathering, working with very large data sets in a data warehouse federation environment, daily maintenance, monitoring, performance analysis, trouble shooting, problem resolution, data recovery, present and future capacity planning for all of the resources required of the data mining systems being managed. You will be responsible for the integrity and accessibility of all business metrics and deliver custom data sets to our research group and product management group.

• At least 5+ years of experience in software development, database design
• Strong data loading experience and overall database experience is a must.

kikin is searching for an Analytics Engineer to design, build and manage kikin’s usage statistics across kikin’s web and mobile content/service experiences. kikin is re-defining users' content and service consumption experience and overall web / mobile navigation paradigm. We are looking for experts in the field of usage metrics to help us define a new, more relevant set of usage metrics beyond mere clicks, such as time spent, content consumed, transactions performed etc.

The successful candidate will be familiar with tracking methodology (both web / mobile) OLAP, data modeling, information retrieval and relationship mapping.
